MFM INSTITUTE OF SPIRITUAL WARFARE

PRELIMINARY REMARKS

The Institute of Spiritual Warfare (INSWAR) was inaugurated on 7th November 2002. It is the new umbrella covering all the 15 schools in the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries Worldwide. Before its inception, each school was independent having its own Registrar and lecturers alike. Each school graduated its own students as well. The General Overseer was the Rector and adviser to the individual schools and each Registrar was responsible to him on individual basis. In May, 2004 as a result of the Deliverance in terms of student strength, these departments now have two different sections, full-time and part-time. It is for proper management that these larger departments have been re-organised.

The institute of Spiritual Warfare was established to act as the central point for all the schools. From this time onward, all former schools became departments and all former Registrars of such schools became Heads of Department.

The 15 schools that have now become departments are:

Presently the INSWAR has established four Departments in the United Kingdom.
They are:

The established of other departments are to follow later.

The Institute of Spiritual Warfare is the training arm of MFM where people are trained as spiritual soldiers/ambassadors for the end time. Anything that has to do with training in MFM must of necessity pass through the Institute.

Every student of INSWAR is taught how to combat the forces of darkness at all times through spiritual warfare. Prayer forms an integral part of the Institute. In addition every student of INSWAR must be ready at all times to display loyalty, honesty, dedication, discipline, integrity, holiness within and without, humility, readiness to serve, purity in words and deeds.

The Institute has at the helm of affairs, a Monitoring Officer and a Registrar/Secretary who are responsible to the President of the Institute, Dr. D. K. Olukoya the General Overseer of MFM Ministries (Worldwide). The Institute also has a Bursar working in collaboration with the Monitoring Officer and the Registrar/Secretary.

There are two principal committees of the Institute namely: the Education Committee, which formulates the policy governing the Institute. The other committee is the Examinations Committee that takes charge of all forms of examinations in the Institute ranging from the Entrance Examination to Semester Examination. There are other committees to see to other matters affecting the institute such as ceremonies committee to take care of matriculation, graduation and other ceremonies that might come up - Prayer committee, Welfare committee, Library committee, Publications committee and Affiliation committee.

The Institute discourages mediocrity in all its entirely and welcomes thoroughness in every way.

THE INSTITUTE’S MOTTO

The Motto of the Institute is "Depopulating Hell through Spiritual Warfare". The motto of the Institute is its guiding principle.

COURSE DURATION

The duration of most courses in the Institute is Seven(7) months per course work, except for some full-time programmes that ranges between 7 weeks to 10 weeks respectively. One-two months are then used for the Industrial training and writing of project where required. The total duration therefore is 9 months.

For all part-time curses, there are two semesters. A semester is made up of fifteen (15) weeks or 31/2 months. We have thirty (30) weeks of teaching courses. Students are required to take a minimum of ten (10) courses per semester, which implies that at least twenty (20) courses must be completed at the end of two semesters. Each course carries two units. If a student offers up to fifteen (15) courses per semester and thirty (30) courses in two semesters such as student will however be graded based on his best twenty (20) courses. His grade point average (GPA) will carry his best twenty (20) courses of forty (40) units.

NOTE:
All Full-time courses are very intensive and the course content is commensurate with the part-time ones.

Lectures are held in the departments at different times depending on the departmental time schedule.
